ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ ثَانٍ يُصَرِّحُ بِصِحَّةِ مَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ

ibnhibban:3554 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Junayd > Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Bakr b. Muḍar > ʿUmārah b. Ghaziyyah > Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Saʿd > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

the Messenger of Allah saw some people gathered around a man, so he asked (what was happening) and they said: "It is a man who is exhausted because of fasting." The Messenger of Allah said: "It is not righteousness to fast when traveling." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2257)   

ابن حبّان:٣٥٥٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ وَرَأَى نَاسًا مُجْتَمِعِينَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ فَسَأَلَ فَقَالُوا رَجُلٌ جَهَدَهُ الصَّوْمُ؛ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ»
