ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الْمُسَافِرَ إِنَّمَا أُبِيحَ لَهُ الْمَسْحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ إِذَا أَدْخَلَ الْخُفَّيْنِ عَلَى طُهْرٍ
The Prophet granted a concession to travelers: "If a traveler performed ablution and put on leather socks, then he performed a fresh ablution, he could wipe over the leather socks for three days and nights; the resident could do so for one day and one night." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 556)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «أَنَّهُ رَخَّصَ لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيَهُنَّ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً إِذَا تَطَهَّرَ وَلَبِسَ خُفَّيْهِ فَلْيَمْسَحْ عَلَيْهِمَا»
