الحاكم:٨٦٥٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الزُّهْرِيُّ ثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَ أَرَادَ ابْنٌ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ يَخْرُجَ نَحْوَ الشَّامِ فَاطَّلَعَ عَلَيْهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ مِنْ فَوْقِ بَيْتٍ فَقَالَ

«يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تَفْجَعْنِي بِنَفْسِكَ فَلَيَأْتِيَنَّ مِنَ الشَّامِ صَرِيخُ كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
