[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Constantinople will be conquered, and what a wonderful leader its leader will be, and what a wonderful army that army will be." Ubaidullah said: "Then Maslamah ibn Abd al-Malik called me and asked me about this hadith, so I narrated it to him, and he (Maslamah ibn Abd al-Malik) then conquered Constantinople."

الحاكم:٨٣٠٠ – أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْإِمَامُ ثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْغَنَوِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَتُفْتَحَنَّ الْقُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةُ وَلَنِعْمَ الْأَمِيرُ أَمِيرُهَا وَلَنِعْمَ الْجَيْشُ ذَلِكَ الْجَيْشُ» قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ «فَدَعَانِي مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ فَسَأَلَنِي عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ فَغَزَا الْقُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةَ»

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ صحيح

[Machine] He heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Constantinople will surely be opened. How blessed is its Amir, and how blessed is its army!" Muslimah bin Abdul Malik called me and asked me, so I informed him. Then he waged war against Constantinople.

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَتُفْتَحَنَّ الْقُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةُ فَلَنِعْمَ الْأَمِيرُ أَمِيرُهَا وَلَنِعْمَ الْجَيْشُ ذَلِكَ الْجَيْشُ قَالَ فَدَعَانِي مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ فَسَأَلَنِي فَحَدَّثْتُهُ فَغَزَا الْقُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةَ
