[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Oh Hazal, if you covered it (i.e., your private parts) with your garment, it would be better for you." Shu'bah said, Yahya mentioned this hadith in a gathering where Yazid bin Nuaim bin Hazal was present, and Yazid said, "This is true and it is a saying of my grandfather."  

الحاكم:٨٠٨٠ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ ثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَزَّالِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يَا هَزَّالُ لَوْ سَتَرْتَهُ بِثَوْبِكَ كَانَ خَيْرًا لَكَ» قَالَ شُعْبَةُ قَالَ يَحْيَى فَذَكَرْتُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ بِمَجْلِسٍ فِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ هَزَّالٍ فَقَالَ يَزِيدُ «هَذَا الْحَقُّ حَقٌّ وَهُوَ حَدِيثُ جَدِّي»  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» وَقَدْ تَفَرَّدَ بِهَذِهِ الزِّيَادَةِ أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَصحيح

Malik related to me from Yahya ibn Said that Said ibn al-Musayyab said, "I have heard that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to a man from the Aslam tribe called Hazzal, 'Hazzal, had you veiled him with your cloak, it would have been better for you.' " Yahya ibn Said said, "I related this hadith in an assembly among whom was Yazid ibn Nuaym ibn Hazzal al-Aslami. Yazid said, 'Hazzal was my grandfather. This hadith is true.' "  

مالك:٤١-٣ – حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ بَلَغَنِي

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ يُقَالُ لَهُ هَزَّالٌ يَا هَزَّالُ لَوْ سَتَرْتَهُ بِرِدَائِكَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَكَ قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ هَزَّالٍ الأَسْلَمِيِّ فَقَالَ يَزِيدُ هَزَّالٌ جَدِّي وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ حَقٌّ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to a man who had embraced Islam and was called Hazal: "If you cover him with your own garment, it would be better for you." Yahya narrated that he mentioned this hadith in a gathering which included Yazid ibn Nuaim ibn Hazal al-Aslami, who responded, "Hazal is my grandfather, and this hadith is correct. This is more authentic than what was said before."  

البيهقي:١٧٦٠٧ – وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو صَالِحِ بْنُ أَبِي طَاهِرٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ أنبأ جَدِّي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو كَشْمَرْدُ أنبأ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ يُدْعَى هَزَّالًا لَوْ سَتَرْتَهُ بِثَوْبِكَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَكَ قَالَ يَحْيَى فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ هَزَّالٍ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ فَقَالَ هَزَّالٌ جَدِّي وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ حَقٌّ هَذَا أَصَحُّ مِمَّا قَبْلَهُ
