[Machine] "Two garments belonged to the servant of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Its origin was from Yemen. It was taken as booty, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gifted it to him. He became known as Abu Abdullah. He died in Hims in the year fifty-four."  

الحاكم:٦٠٣٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ثَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ قَالَ

«ثَوْبَانُ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَصْلُهُ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ أَصَابَهُ سَبْيٌ فَمَنَّ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُكَنَّى أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مَاتَ بِحِمْصَ سَنَةَ أَرْبَعٍ وَخَمْسِينَ»
