Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of suspicion. Suspicion is the worst type of lie. Do not spy. Do not fight one another. Do not try to ensnare one another (in sales). Do not envy each other. Do not hate one another. Be slaves of Allah and brothers."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَ الظَّنَّ فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ وَلاَ تَجَسَّسُوا وَلاَ تَنَافَسُوا وَلاَ تَدَابَرُوا وَلاَ تَحَاسَدُوا وَلاَ تَبَاغَضُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللهِ إِخْوَانًا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Beware of suspicion (about others), as suspicion is the falsest talk, and do not spy upon each other, and do not listen to the evil talk of the people about others' affairs, and do not have enmity with one another, but be brothers. And none should ask for the hand of a girl who is already engaged to his (Muslim) brother, but one should wait till the first suitor marries her or leaves her."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ وَلاَ تَجَسَّسُوا وَلاَ تَحَسَّسُوا وَلاَ تَبَاغَضُوا وَكُونُوا إِخْوَانًا وَلَا يَخْطُبُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ حَتَّى يَنْكِحَ أَوْ يَتْرُكَ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others' faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah's worshipers! Be brothers (as Allah has ordered you!")

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ وَلاَ تَحَسَّسُوا وَلاَ تَجَسَّسُوا وَلاَ تَحَاسَدُوا وَلاَ تَدَابَرُوا وَلاَ تَبَاغَضُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not hate one another, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert each other, and O, Allah's worshipers! Be brothers. Lo! It is not permissible for any Muslim to desert (not talk to) his brother (Muslim) for more than three days."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تَبَاغَضُوا وَلاَ تَحَاسَدُوا وَلاَ تَدَابَرُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا وَلاَ يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales. and do not look for the others' faults, and do not do spying on one another, and do not practice Najsh, and do not be jealous of one another and do not hate one another, and do not desert (stop talking to) one another. And O, Allah's worshipers! Be brothers!"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ وَلاَ تَحَسَّسُوا وَلاَ تَجَسَّسُوا وَلاَ تَنَاجَشُوا وَلاَ تَحَاسَدُوا وَلاَ تَبَاغَضُوا وَلاَ تَدَابَرُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not hate one another, nor be jealous of one another; and do not desert one another, but O Allah's worshipers! Be Brothers! And it is unlawful for a Muslim to desert his brother Muslim (and not to talk to him) for more than three nights."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تَبَاغَضُوا وَلاَ تَحَاسَدُوا وَلاَ تَدَابَرُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا وَلاَ يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثِ لَيَالٍ

Avoid suspicion, for suspicion is the gravest lie in talk and do not be inquisitive about one another and do not spy upon one another and do not feel envy with the other, and nurse no malice, and nurse no aversion and hostility against one another. And be fellow-brothers and servants of Allah.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَقَاطَعُوا وَلاَ تَدَابَرُوا وَلاَ تَبَاغَضُوا وَلاَ تَحَاسَدُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا وَلاَ يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثٍ

"Beware of Zann (suspicion), for indeed Zann is the falsest of speech."

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to say, "Do not bear malice, do not despise one another, do not envy one another, and be servants of Allah as brothers."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Anas ibn Malik that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not be angry with each other and do not envy each other and do not turn away from each other, and be slaves of Allah, brothers. It is not halal for a muslim to shun his brother for more than three nights."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تَبَاغَضُوا وَلاَ تَحَاسَدُوا وَلاَ تَدَابَرُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا وَلاَ يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يُهَاجِرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثِ لَيَالٍ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of suspicion. Suspicion is the most untrue speech. Do not spy and do not eavesdrop. Do not compete with each other and do not envy each other and do not hate each other and do not shun each other. Be slaves of Allah, brothers."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ وَلاَ تَجَسَّسُوا وَلاَ تَحَسَّسُوا وَلاَ تَنَافَسُوا وَلاَ تَحَاسَدُوا وَلاَ تَبَاغَضُوا وَلاَ تَدَابَرُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا

Do not hate each other; do not envy each other; do not desert each other; and be the servants of Allah as brethren. It is not allowed for a Muslim to keep apart from his brother for more than three days. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4910)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَبَاغَضُوا وَلَا تَحَاسَدُوا وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادًا لِلَّهِ إِخْوَانًا وَلَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ»

Avoid suspicion, for suspicion is the gravest lie in talk and do not be inquisitive about one another and do not spy upon one another and do not feel envy with the other, and nurse no malice, and nurse no aversion and hostility against one another. And be fellow-brothers and servants of Allah. (Using translation from Muslim 2563a)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا وَلَا تَحَسَّسُوا وَلَا تَحَاسَدُوا وَلَا تَنَافَسُوا وَلَا تَبَاغَضُوا وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادًا لِلَّهِ إِخْوَانًا»

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ لا تَدَابَرُوا ولاَ تَبَاغَضُوا ولاَ تَحَاسَدُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا ولاَ يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أن يهجر أخاه فوق ثلاث

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ لا تدابروا ولاَ تناجشوا ولاَ تباغضوا وكونوا عباد الله إخوانا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others' faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah's worshipers! Be brothers (as Allah has ordered you!") (Using translation from Bukhārī 6064)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ؛ فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ وَلَا تَحَسَّسُوا وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا وَلَا تَنَافَسُوا وَلَا تَحَاسَدُوا وَلَا تَبَاغَضُوا وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللهِ إِخْوَانًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not envy one another, do not cut off ties, do not hate one another, and be servants of Allah as brothers. It is not permissible for a Muslim to abandon his brother for more than three days."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَحَاسَدُوا وَلَا تَقَاطَعُوا وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللهِ إِخْوَانًا وَلَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not boycott each other, do not turn away from each other, do not hate each other, do not envy each other, and be brothers and servants of Allah as He has commanded you."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَقَاطَعُوا وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا وَلَا تَبَاغَضُوا وَلَا تَحَاسَدُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللهِ إِخْوَانًا كَمَا أَمَرَكُمُ اللهُ ﷻ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not hate one another, do not envy one another, do not turn away from one another, but be brothers, O servants of Allah. It is not lawful for a Muslim to boycott his brother for more than three nights, such that they meet and each of them turns away. The better of the two is the one who initiates the greeting of peace."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَبَاغَضُوا وَلَا تَحَاسَدُوا وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللهِ إِخْوَانًا وَلَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ يَلْتَقِيَانِ يَصُدُّ هَذَا وَيَصُدُّ هَذَا وَخَيْرُهُمَا الَّذِي يَبْدَأُ بِالسَّلَامِ
