[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "What is the best action in the sight of Allah during the ten days of Dhul Hijjah?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad in the cause of Allah?" He said, "Not even Jihad in the cause of Allah, except for a man who goes out with himself and his wealth in the cause of Allah and does not return with anything." This is the wording of the narration of Shu'bah, and in the narration of Abu Mu'awiyah it is stated: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these days," meaning the ten days, and the remaining part is the same in meaning.

They (the Companions) asked: Messenger of Allah, not even the struggle in the path of Allah (Jihad) ? He said: (Yes), not even the struggle in the path of Allah, except a man who goes out (in the path of Allah) with his life and property, and does not return with any of them.
