[Machine] The fasting person breaks their fast with the sighting of the midday sun, and this was narrated from other sources as well, although its authenticity is not confirmed.  

البيهقي:٨٣٥٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازُ ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

الصَّائِمُ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ نِصْفِ النَّهَارِ وَرُوِيَ هَذَا مِنْ أَوْجُهٍ أُخَرَ مَرْفُوعًا وَلَا يَصِحُّ رَفْعُهُ
