[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Take a bath on the day of Friday and wash your heads even if you are not in a state of janabah, and apply perfume if available.' Ibn Abbas said: 'As for the bath, yes, but as for the perfume, I do not know.'"

البيهقي:٥٩٥٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ الْفَضْلِ أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيُّ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ طَاوُسٌ قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ذَكَرُوا

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اغْتَسِلُوا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاغْسِلُوا رُءُوسَكُمْ وَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا جُنُبًا وَأَصِيبُوا مِنَ الطِّيبِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَمَّا الْغُسْلُ فَنَعَمْ وَأَمَّا الطِّيبُ فَلَا أَدْرِي

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي الْيَمَانِ وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ وَهَذَا يَدُلُّ مَعَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَلَى أَنَّ الْمُرَادَ بِقَوْلِهِ مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ مَنْ غَسَّلَ رَأْسَهُ وَغَسَلَ جَسَدَهُ

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Perform Ghusl (full ritual bathing) on the day of Jumu'ah (Friday), and wash your heads even if you are not in a state of sexual impurity, and use fragrance.' Ibn 'Abbas said: 'As for performing Ghusl, then yes. As for using fragrance, then I do not know.'"
