[Machine] A blind man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Indeed, I can hear the call to prayer but I might not find someone to guide me, so shall I have a Masjid (mosque) in my house?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "Can you hear the call to prayer?" He replied, "Yes." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you hear the call to prayer, then respond to it." This narration was reported by Abu Abdur-Rahim, narrated by Zaid ibn Abi Unaisah, from Adi ibn Thabit, from Abdullah ibn Maqil.  

البيهقي:٤٩٤٧أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الصَّيْدَلَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلٍ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْمَى أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَسْمَعُ النِّدَاءَ وَلَعَلِّي لَا أَجِدُ قَائِدًا أَفَأَتَّخِذُ مَسْجِدًا فِي دَارِي؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَسْمَعُ النِّدَاءَ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ إِذَا سَمِعْتَ النِّدَاءَ فَاخْرُجْ خَالَفَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ فَرَوَاهُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلٍ

The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Can you hear the call to prayer?" He replied, "Yes." The Prophet ﷺ then said, "When you hear the call to prayer, then go out."
