Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Abu Bakr and Umar used to do that.

أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَانَا يَفْعَلاَنِ ذَلِكَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ أَوْ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ
