[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying on his riding animal during the Battle of Anmar, facing the direction of the East, voluntarily.  

البيهقي:٢٢٠٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ قُرْقُوبٍ التَّمَّارُ بِهَمْدَانَ أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا آدَمُ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ أنبأ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سُرَاقَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غَزْوَةِ أَنْمَارٍ يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ مُتَوَجِّهًا قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ تَطَوُّعًا  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ آدَمَ بْنِ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ
