[Machine] A man said, "Indeed, Uthman used to say three qualities: Uthman is the best among us, the most knowledgeable among us, and concerning this chain of narration, there is a weakness."  

البيهقي:١٥٥٨٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زُرَارَةَ نا عَمْرُو بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ نا الْعُمَرِيُّ عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ؓ عَنْ عِدَّةِ أُمِّ الْوَلَدِ فَقَالَ حَيْضَةٌ فَقَالَ

"عَنْ نَافِعِ قَالَ: سُئِلَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ عِدَّةِ أُتمِّ الْوَلَدِ، فَقَالَ: حَيْضَةٌ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: إِنَّ عُثْمَانَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: ثَلاَثَةُ قُرُوءٍ، فَقَالَ: عُثْمَانُ خَيْرُنَا وَأَعْلمُنَا ".
