The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Beware of the wages of a distributor of booty (qusamah). We asked: What is qusamah (wages of a distributor)? He said: It means a thing which is shared by the people, and then it is reduced. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2783)   

البيهقي:١٣٠٢٤ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُسَافِرٍ التِّنِّيسِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ أنا الزَّمْعِيُّ عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سُرَاقَةَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ ؓ

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْقُسَامَةَ قَالَ فَقُلْنَا وَمَا الْقُسَامَةُ؟ قَالَ الشَّيْءُ يَكُونُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ ثُمَّ يُنْتَقَصُ
