[Machine] "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, 'Beware of dividing people into factions.' They asked, 'And what is dividing people into factions, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'A man joins one group of people and takes from the share of this one and the share of that one.'"

البيهقي:١٣٠٢٥ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ شَرِيكِ بْنِ أَبِي نَمِرٍ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْقُسَامَةَ قَالُوا وَمَا الْقُسَامَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ الرَّجُلُ يَكُونُ عَلَى الْفِئَامِ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَيَأْخُذُ مِنْ حَظِّ هَذَا وَحَظِّ هَذَا

Ata' reported a similar tradition (to No 2777) from the Prophet ﷺ. This version adds: a man is appointed on groups of people, and takes (wages) from the share of this, and from the share of this.
