[Machine] I heard Attab ibn Asid, while he was leaning against the House of Allah, saying, "By Allah, I have not gained anything in my deeds, which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led me towards, except for two folded garments that my Lord has clothed me with."
سَمِعْتُ عَتَّابَ بْنَ أَسِيدٍ وَهُوَ مُسْنِدٌ ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى بَيْتِ اللهِ يَقُولُ وَاللهِ مَا أَصَبْتُ فِي عَمَلِي هَذَا الَّذِي وَلَّانِي فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَّا ثَوْبَيْنِ مُعَقَّدَيْنِ كَسَوْتُهُمَا مَوْلَايَ كَيْسَانَ
[Machine] "I heard Attab ibn Usaid, while she was leaning against the Kaaba, saying, 'By Allah, in all my actions, I did not acquire anything except for two folded garments, so I wore them as my attire, O my Lord.'" Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary.
سَمِعْتُ عَتَّابَ بْنَ أُسَيْدٍ وَهُوَ مُسْنِدٌ ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى بَيْتِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ «وَاللَّهِ مَا أَصَبْتُ فِي عَمَلِي هَذَا الَّذِي وَلَّانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَّا ثَوْبَيْنَ مُعَقَّدَيْنِ فَكَسَوْتُهُمَا كَيْسَانَ مَوْلَايَ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
[Machine] I heard Attab ibn Asid, who was leaning on the Kaaba, saying, "By Allah, I have not achieved anything in my actions, for which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted me except two folded garments. So I wore them as two cloths."
