[Machine] Umar ibn Al-Khattab RA said: "Send the disputing parties back, perhaps they might reconcile; for that is more conducive to honesty and reduces grudges."  

البيهقي:١١٣٦١ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ثنا مُعَرِّفُ بْنُ وَاصِلٍ ثنا مُحَارِبُ بْنُ دِثَارٍ قَالَ

قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ رُدُّوا الْخُصُومَ لَعَلَّهُمْ أَنْ يَصْطَلِحُوا؛ فَإِنَّهُ أَبْرَأُ لِلصِّدْقِ وَأَقَلُّ لِلْحِنَاتِ
