[Machine] They said, "O Messenger of Allah, indeed here are a people who have recently entered into a contract of partnership, and they bring us meat. We do not know whether they have mentioned the name of Allah upon it or not." So the Prophet ﷺ said, "Remember the name of Allah and eat."
[Machine] There were people from the desert who brought slaughtered meat and they asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ how they should prepare it. He replied, "Say the name of Allah over it and then eat it."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "It is enough for a Muslim to mention his name when slaughtering. If he forgets to mention his name, then he should mention the name of Allah and eat it."
[Machine] The Muslim has the name of Allah in it, even if the designation is not mentioned.
[Machine] To mention the name of Allah, one should eat, for in it is a name of Allah that signifies the generosity of Allah
[Machine] Let him mention the name of Allah over it and let him eat, and not leave it for Shaytan when slaughtering on the Fitrah.
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think of a person among us who slaughters an animal and forgets to mention the name of Allah?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "The name of Allah should be mentioned upon every Muslim." Abu Ahmad narrated from Marwan bin Salim a narration that is not followed by trustworthy narrators. Al-Sheikh Marwan bin Salim al-Jazari is weak, as declared by Ahmad bin Hanbal, Al-Bukhari, and others. This hadith is considered Munkar (disapproved) due to this chain of narration.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "The sacrifice of a Muslim is permissible, whether or not the name of Allah is mentioned. However, if the name of Allah is mentioned at the time of slaughter, it is better." Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Muhammad informed us that Abu Al-Husayn Al-Fasawi narrated to us that Abu Ali Al-Lu'lu'i narrated to us that Abu Dawud mentioned it.
