53. Fighting Rebellion
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to say, "Intercede, so that you may be rewarded, and Allah decides according to the words of His Prophet, whatever He wills."
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ: "Whoever maintains a relationship with his Muslim brother for the sake of righteousness or to facilitate his own difficulties, then Allah will assist him on the Day of Resurrection when people's feet will slip." Al-Abbas said, "Then I met Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab and he narrated the same hadith to me from his father, from his grandfather, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet ﷺ, with a similar chain of narration. And it was also narrated from another source, from Aisha, with the wording 'raised up'."
The Prophet ﷺ said: The believer is the believer's mirror, and the believer is the believer's brother who guards him against loss and protects him when he is absent. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4918)
[Machine] On the authority of Yahya ibn Sulaim ibn Zaid, a freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , who reported that he heard Isma'il ibn Bashir, a freed slave of the Banu Mughalat tribe, say: I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah and Abu Talha ibn Sahl, both Ansar, say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever fails to support a Muslim in a place where his honor is belittled and his sanctity violated, Allah will abandon him in a place where he loves to be supported. And whoever supports a Muslim in a place where his honor is belittled and his sanctity violated, Allah will support him in a place where he loves to be supported." Then Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, and he heard from Abu al-Abbas al-Qasim ibn al-Qasim al-Sayyari, who heard from Abu al-Muwajjah, who heard from Abdan, who heard from Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak, who heard from Layth ibn Sa'd, who mentioned it in a similar manner.
[Machine] A man insulted another man in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the man retaliated. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever defends the honor of his brother, a barrier will be created between him and the Fire." This hadith was also narrated by Marzuq from Umm Ad-Darda from Abu Ad-Darda.
[Machine] "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Whoever supports his brother in secret, Allah will support him in this world and the Hereafter.'"
