"When I tell you of a Hadith from the Messenger of Alllah ﷺ, then think of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as being the best, the utmost rightly guided and the one with the utmost Taqwa (piety, righteousness)."  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَظُنُّوا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الَّذِي هُوَ أَهْنَاهُ وَأَهْدَاهُ وَأَتْقَاهُ  

"When I narrate a Hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, to you, then think of him as being the best, the most rightly guided and the one with the utmost Taqwa (piety, righteousness)"  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِحَدِيثٍ فَظُنُّوا بِهِ الَّذِي هُوَ أَهْنَاهُ وَأَهْدَاهُ وَأَتْقَاهُ  

If you are told a hadeeth from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then think of it in the most guided, the best and the most pious manner.  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَدِيثًا فَظُنُّوا بِهِ الَّذِي هُوَ أَهْدَى وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَهْيَا وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَتْقَى  

ʿAli said: If I tell you a hadeeth from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then think of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the best, the most guided and the most pious manner.  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَدِيثًا فَظُنُّوا بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَهْيَاهُ وَأَهْدَاهُ وَأَتْقَاهُ  

If I tell you a hadeeth from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then think of him in the best manner, the most guided manner and the most pious manner. A similar report was narrated from Abu ’Abdur-Rahman as-Sulami from ʿAli ؓ   

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَدِيثًا فَظُنُّوا بِهِ الَّذِي هُوَ أَهْيَا وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَهْدَى وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَتْقَى  

If you are told a hadeeth from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then think of him in the most guided manner, the most pious manner and the best manner.  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِحَدِيثٍ فَظُنُّوا بِهِ الَّذِي هُوَ أَهْدَى وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَتْقَى وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَهْيَا  

‘Ali ؓ said: If I narrate to you a hadeeth from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then think of him in the best manner, the most guided manner, the most pious manner.  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَدِيثًا فَظُنُّوا بِهِ الَّذِي هُوَ أَهْيَا وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَهْدَى وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَتْقَى  

ʿAli said: If I tell you a hadeeth from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then think of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the best, the most guided and the most pious manner. (Using translation from Aḥmad 1039)  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَدِيثًا فَظُنُّوا بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَهْيَاهُ وَأَهْدَاهُ وَأَتْقَاهُ
