It was narrated from ‘Ali bin Abi Talib ؓ that The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to ride a donkey whose name was ‘Ufair.  

أحمد:٨٨٦ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الرَّازِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ مَرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْيَزَنِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زُرَيْرٍ الْغَافِقِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَرْكَبُ حِمَارًا اسْمُهُ عُفَيْرٌ
