[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by me while I was wearing a garment and my thigh was exposed. He said, "Cover your thigh, for indeed the thigh is 'awrah (private)."  

أحمد:١٥٩٣٣ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزِّنَادِ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَرْهَدٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ جَرْهَدٍ قَالَ

مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَعَلَيَّ بُرْدَةٌ وَقَدِ انْكَشَفَتْ فَخِذِي قَالَ غَطِّ فَإِنَّ الْفَخْذَ عَوْرَةٌ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by me while I was in the mosque, and my thigh was exposed because my cloak had slipped off. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Cover your thigh, O Jarhad, for the thigh is 'awrah."
