[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ saw a man with his thigh exposed, wearing a blanket in the mosque. Then he said, "The thigh is considered 'awrah" (a part of the body that should be covered).  

أحمد:١٥٩٢٧حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ جَرْهَدٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى جَرْهَدًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَعَلَيْهِ بُرْدَةٌ قَدِ انْكَشَفَ فَخِذُهُ فَقَالَ الْفَخِذُ عَوْرَةٌ

about his grandfather Jarhad, he said: "The Prophet ﷺ passed by Jarhad in the Masjid and his thigh was exposed, so he said: 'Indeed the thigh is 'Awrah.'"

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ مَا أَرَى إِسْنَادَهُ بِمُتَّصِلٍ

[Machine] Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ saw him while his thigh was exposed in the mosque, and he was wearing a cloak. So the Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, the thigh is part of the 'awrah (private parts)."  

الحاكم:٧٣٦٠أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سَالِمِ أَبِي النَّضْرِ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ جَرْهَدَ عَنْ جَدِّهِ جَرْهَدَ

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَشَاهِدُهُ حَدِيثُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَحْشِ صحيح

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by me while I was in the mosque, and my thigh was exposed because my cloak had slipped off. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Cover your thigh, O Jarhad, for the thigh is 'awrah."  

الطبراني:٢١٤٦حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ ثنا سَالِمٌ أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنِي زُرْعَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَرْهَدٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ جَرْهَدٍ قَالَ

مَرَّ بِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَنَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَعَلَيَّ بُرْدَةٌ قَدِ انْكَشَفَتْ فَخِذِي فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «غَطِّ فَخِذَكَ يَا جَرْهَدُ فَإِنَّ الْفَخِذَ عَوْرَةٌ»
