Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Two qualities are not found together in a believer: miserliness and ill-temper."  

الأدب المفرد:٢٨٢حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ مُوسَى هُوَ أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ السُّلَمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ غَالِبٍ هُوَ الْحُدَّانِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ خَصْلَتَانِ لاَ يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي مُؤْمِنٍ الْبُخْلُ وَسُوءُ الْخُلُقِ
