I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but I did not hear about the prohibition of (eating) insects and little creatures of land.  

أبو داود:٣٧٩٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا غَالِبُ بْنُ حَجْرَةَ حَدَّثَنِي مِلْقَامُ بْنُ تَلِبٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

صَحِبْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ لِحَشَرَةِ الأَرْضِ تَحْرِيمًا
