4. Chapter of Tā (Male)
[Machine] About Ibn Shihab, in the naming of one who was martyred on the day of Ajnadain, from the tribe of Quraysh, then from the tribe of Banu Sahm, Tameem ibn Al-Harith ibn Qais.
[Machine] He was with the Prophet ﷺ and he used to feed me and measure for me a portion, so I would raise it and eat with the people until it became enough food. He said, "And the Prophet ﷺ came to the Talib (seeker of knowledge) and said, 'You fed me a portion on such and such day, and I have collected it until this day.'" He said, "So the Prophet ﷺ borrowed from him, and he had from him what he used to measure for him before that."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Hospitality lasts for three days, as a duty, and anything beyond that is charity."
[Machine] "He came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, seek forgiveness for me.' The Prophet ﷺ replied, 'When the adhan is called for you, or even before it is called for you, say the adhan in a melodious voice as much as Allah wills.' Then he called him and wiped his hand on his face, saying, 'O Allah, forgive Al-Talib and have mercy on him three times.'"
I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but I did not hear about the prohibition of (eating) insects and little creatures of land. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3798)
