I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but I did not hear about the prohibition of (eating) insects and little creatures of land. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3798)  

الطبراني:١٢٩٩ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا غَالِبُ بْنُ حُجْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مِلْقَامَ بْنَ التَّلِبِّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

«صَحِبْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ لِحَشَرَاتِ الْأَرْضِ تَحْرِيمًا»
