[Machine] Al-Qa'ani narrated that Sulaiman bin Bilal reported from Amr bin Yahya, who reported from Mu'adh bin Rifaa'ah al-Zurqi, that a man from the tribe of Salimah, called Sulaim, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we perform our deeds and then spend the night. Mu'adh bin Jabal calls for prayer and we respond, but he prolongs the prayer. Can you advise him to shorten it for us?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Mu'adh, do not cause people to repel. Either you should pray with us or you should shorten it for your people."
