[Machine] Ubayy ibn Ka'b, also known as Abu al-Mundhir, passed away in Medina in the year twenty-two or, according to some, thirty in the caliphate of Uthman.  

الطبراني:٥٢٩حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ

تُوُفِّيَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ ؓ يُكَنَّى أَبَا الْمُنْذِرِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ سَنَةَ ثِنْتَيْنِ وَعِشْرِينَ وَقَائِلٌ يَقُولُ سَنَةَ ثَلَاثِينَ فِي خِلَافَةِ عُثْمَانَ ؓ
