[Machine] Ibn Abbas and Ibn Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform the Witr prayer and the two units of prayer while traveling."  

الطبراني:١٢٥٧٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَا «سَنَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْوِتْرَ وَرَكْعَتَيِ السَّفَرِ»

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prescribed two Rak’ah of prayer when traveling; they are complete and are not shortened. And Witr when traveling is Sunnah.”  

ابن ماجة:١١٩٤ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالاَ سَنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلاَةَ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ وَالْوِتْرُ فِي السَّفَرِ سُنَّةٌ
