[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Khalid ibn al-Walid and Ali ibn Abi Talib to Yemen. Ali was appointed over the immigrants (from Mecca) and Khalid was appointed over the Arabs. He said, "If there is fighting, it is upon me to fight the group of people."  

الطبراني:١٢١٠٩حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ ثنا أَبُو شَيْبَةَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ وَعَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَاسْتَعْمَلَ عَلِيًّا عَلَى الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَاسْتَعْمَلَ خَالِدًا عَلَى الْأَعْرَابِ قَالَ «وَإِنْ كَانَ قِتَالٌ فَعَلَيٌّ عَلَى جَمَاعَةِ النَّاسِ»
