19.3.58 Subsection
١٩۔٣۔٥٨ أَبُو صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
[Machine] The prophet, ﷺ , passed by someone who had tied his hand to another person with a rope, string, or something similar. The Prophet, ﷺ , cut the rope and said, "Free him with your own hand."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ بِإِنْسَانٍ قَدْ رَبَطَ يَدَهُ إِلَى إِنْسَانٍ آخَرَ بِسَيْرٍ أَوْ خَيْطٍ أَوْ بِشَيْءٍ غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ فَقَطَعَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَقَالَ «قُدْهُ بِيَدِكَ»
[Machine] The people were dispersing in every direction, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No one should leave until their last covenant is with the house."
كَانَ النَّاسُ يَنْصَرِفُونَ فِي كُلِّ وَجْهٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَنْفِرَنَّ أَحَدٌ حَتَّى يَكُونَ آخِرُ عَهْدِهِ بِالْبَيْتِ»
When the Prophet ﷺ got up at night to offer the night prayer, he used to say: "Allahumma laka l-hamdu; Anta nuras-samawati wal ardi wa man fihinna. wa laka l-hamdu; Anta qaiyim as-samawati wal ardi wa man flhinna. Wa lakaI-hamdu; Anta-l-,haqqun, wa wa'daka haqqun, wa qauluka haqqun, wa liqauka haqqun, wal-jannatu haqqun, wannaru haqqun, was-sa atu haqqun, wan-nabiyyuna huqqun, Mahammadun haqqun, Allahumma laka aslamtu, wa Alaika tawakkaltu, wa bika amantu, wa ilaika anabtu, wa bika Khasamtu, wa ilaika hakamtu, faghfirli ma qaddamtu wa ma akh-khartu, wa ma asrartu, wa ma a'lantu. Anta al-muqaddimu, wa anta al-mu-'akhkhiru. La ilaha il-la anta (or La ilaha ghairuka)" (Using translation from Bukhārī 6317)
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ منَ اللَّيْلِ يَتَهَجَّدُ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّماَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ قَيَّامُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ مَلِكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ وَمُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ حَقٌّ وَالنَّبِيُّونَ حَقٌّ اللهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ»
[Machine] "Allah (SWT) said: {And let them circuit around the Ancient House} The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then circumambulated around it."
اللهُ {وَلْيَطَّوَّفُوا بِالْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ} «وَطَافَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever takes back his gift is like one who regurgitates."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ رَجَعَ فِي هِبَتِهِ فَهُوَ كالراجعِ فِي قَيْئِهِ»
Al Fadl bin Abbas said The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ uttered talbiyah till he threw pebbles at Jamrat Al ‘Aqbah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1815)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «لَبَّى حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever invents something in this Ummah (nation) that was not part of it before, he will have it rejected." So, I saw Ibn Hisham when he was being isolated, and the workers of Walid surrounded him.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يُحْدِثُ فِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ حَدَثًا لَمْ يَكُنْ فَيَمُوتُ حَتَّى يُصِيبَهُ ذَلِكَ» فَأَنَا رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ هِشَامٍ حِينَ عُزِلَ وَأَتَى عُمَّالُ الْوَلِيدِ فَطَوَّقُوهُ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are five things that are followed by five other things." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what are the five things that are followed by five other things?" He said, "No nation violates their covenant except that their enemies will prevail over them, and they do not rule by other than what Allah has revealed except that poverty will spread among them, and indecency will become widespread among them. And they do not withhold the scales of justice except that they will be prevented from receiving rain, and they will be seized by years of drought. And they do not withhold Zakat except that the rain will be withheld from them."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «خَمْسٌ بِخَمْسٍ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَمَا خَمْسٌ بِخَمْسٍ؟ قَالَ «مَا نَقَضَ قَوْمٌ الْعَهْدَ إِلَّا سُلِّطَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوُّهُمْ وَمَا حَكَمُوا بِغَيْرِ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللهُ إِلَّا فَشَا فِيهِمُ الْفَقْرُ وَلَا ظَهَرَتْ فِيهِمُ الْفَاحِشَةُ إِلَّا فَشَا فِيهِمُ الْمَوْتُ وَلَا طفَّفُوا الْمِكْيَالَ إِلَّا مُنِعُوا النَّبَاتَ وَأُخِذُوا بِالسِّنِينَ وَلَا مَنَعُوا الزَّكَاةَ إِلَّا حُبِسَ عَنْهُمُ الْقَطْرُ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say after saying the takbeer and after saying "I have directed my face to the One who created the heavens and the earth, inclining towards truth and being a Muslim. O Allah, all praise is due to You, You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and everyone in them. You are the Truth, Your promise is true, and meeting You is true. Paradise is true, Hellfire is true, and the Hour is true. O Allah, I have submitted to You, believed in You, relied on You, turned to You, argued for Your sake, and judged by Your command. So forgive me for what I have done in the past and what I will do in the future, what I have hidden and what I have made known. O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would recite after this.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ بَعْدَ التَّكْبِيرِ وَبَعْدَ أَنْ يَقُولَ «وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّماَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا اللهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ وَوَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ اللهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ إِلَهِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ» ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ هَذَا
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was given a wild donkey as a gift. He returned it to its owner, apologized to him, and said, "We are forbidden to accept this."
لَقَدْ أُهْدِي لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِكُرَاعِ الْغَمِيمِ رِجْلُ حِمَارٍ وَحْشِيٍّ فَرَدَّهُ إِلَى صَاحِبِهِ وَاعْتَذَرَ إِلَيْهِ وَقَالَ «إِنَّا مُحْرِمُونَ»
The Prophet ﷺ said, "He who takes back his present is like him who swallows his vomit." (Using translation from Bukhārī 2621)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْعَائِدُ فِي هِبَتِهِ كَالْعَائِدِ فِي قَيْئِهِ»
The Messenger of Allah( may peace be upon him) used to teach us the tashahhud as he would teach us the Qur’an, and would say: The blessed adoration of the tongue, acts of worship (and) all good things are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and Allah’s mercy and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon Allah’s upright servants. I testify that there is no god but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is Allah’s apostle (peace be upon him). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 974)
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُعَلِّمُنَا التَّشَهُّدَ كَمَا يُعَلِّمُنَا الْقُرْآنَ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ «التَّحِيَّاتُ الْمُبَارَكَاتُ الصَّلَوَاتُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلَّهِ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عَبَّادِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ» قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ وَكَانَ اللَّيْثُ يَأْخُذُ بِهِ
[Machine] He heard Tawus saying, "I asked Ibn Abbas about performing Ruqyah on both feet. He said, 'It is the Sunnah.' I said, 'We see it as a repulsive act towards a person.' He said, 'It is the Sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ.'"
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا يَقُولُ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي الْإِقْعَاءِ عَلَى الْقَدَمَيْنِ قَالَ «هِي السُّنَّةُ» فَقُلْتُ إِنَّا لَنَرَاهُ جَفَاءً بِالرَّجُلِ فَقَالَ «هِي سُنَّةُ نَبِيِّكَ ﷺ»
The Prophet ﷺ said, "He who takes back his present is like him who swallows his vomit." (Using translation from Bukhārī 2621)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْعَائِدُ فِي هِبَتِهِ كَالْعَائِدِ فِي قَيْئِهِ»
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said, "Do not covet other people's wealth, for whoever covets something belongs to the person they covet." And the coveter is the one who says to someone, "This belongs to So-and-So as long as they are alive, but if So-and-So dies, it belongs to another person."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُرْقِبُوا أَمْوَالَكُمْ فَمَنْ أُرْقِبَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ لِمَنْ أُرْقِبَهُ» وَالرُّقْبَى أَنْ يَقُولَ الرَّجُلُ هَذَا لِفُلَانٍ مَا عَاشَ فَإِنْ مَاتَ فُلَانٌ فَهُوَ لِفُلَانٍ
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: 'All of Muzdalifah is a standing place, so stand there and move away from the narrow passageway. And all of Mina is a place of sacrifice.'”
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مُزْدَلِفَةُ كُلُّهَا مَوْقِفٌ وَارْتَفِعُوا عَنْ بَطْنِ مُحَسِّرٍ وَمِنًى كُلُّهَا مَنْحَرٌ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever recites the surah in which the family of Imran is mentioned on the day of Jumu'ah (Friday) until the sun rises."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَرَأَ السُّورَةَ الَّتِي يُذْكُرُ فِيهَا آلَ عِمْرَانَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ﷺ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ حَتَّى تَجِبَ الشَّمْسُ»
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ : "Indeed, Allah created this city on the day He created the heavens and the earth. He fashioned it when He fashioned the sun and the moon. And whatever comes down from the sky upon it is unlawful (forbidden). And it is not permissible for anyone before me. It was permissible only for me for a period of time during the day, then it returned to its original state." It was said to him, "This is Khalid ibn Al-Walid who kills." He said, "Stand up, O Fulan, go to Khalid ibn Al-Walid and tell him to stop killing." So the man went to him and said, "Indeed, the Prophet of Allah ﷺ says, 'Kill those whom you are able to kill.' So he killed seventy people." Then the Prophet ﷺ was informed of that, and he sent a message to Khalid saying, "Did I not prohibit you from killing?" He replied, "So and so came to me and ordered me to kill those whom I was capable of killing." So the Prophet ﷺ sent a message to him saying, "Did I not order you?" He replied, "I intended an action and Allah intended an action, and the command of Allah is above your command. And I was only able to do what I did." So the Prophet ﷺ remained silent and did not reply to him.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ خَلَقَ هَذَا الْبَلَدَ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّماَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَصاغَهُ حِينَ صاغَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَمَا حِيَالَهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ حَرَامٌ وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَحِلُّ لِأَحَدٍ قَبْلِي وَإِنَّمَا حَلَّ لِي سَاعَةً منْ نَهَارٍ ثُمَّ عَادَ كَمَا كَانَ» فَقِيلَ لَهُ هَذَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ يَقْتُلُ قَالَ قُمْ يَا فُلَانُ فائتِ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ فَلْيَرْفَعْ يَدَهُ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ فَأَتَاهُ الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اقْتُلْ مَنْ قَدَرْتَ عَلَيْهِ» فَقَتَلَ سَبْعِينَ إِنْسَانًا فَأُتِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى خَالِدٍ فَقَالَ «أَلَمْ أَنْهَكَ عَنِ الْقَتْلِ؟» فَقَالَ جَاءَنِي فُلَانٌ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَقْتُلَ مَنْ قَدَرْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ «أَلَمْ آمُرْكَ؟» قَالَ أَرَدْتَ أَمْرًا وَأَرَادَ اللهُ أَمْرًا فَكَانَ أَمَرُ اللهِ فَوْقَ أَمْرِكَ وَمَا اسْتَطَعْتُ إِلَّا الَّذِي كَانَ فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ فَمَا رَدَّ عَلَيْهِ شَيْئًا
[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , he said, "There is no divorce except after ownership, and there is no freeing except after ownership."
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا طَلَاقَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مِلْكٍ وَلَا عِتْقَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مِلْكٍ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "All of Arafah is a standing place, and raise yourselves from the belly of the Orena."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «عَرَفَةُ كُلُّهَا مَوْقِفٌ وَارْتَفِعُوا عَنْ بَطْنِ عُرَنَةَ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven body parts and to not cover myself with a garment or hair."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْضَاءٍ وَأَنْ لَا أَكُفَّ لِي ثَوْبًا وَلَا شَعْرًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "We were commanded to face seven major things and were ordered not to cut fabric or hair."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «وُجِّهْنَا عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ وَأُمِرْنَا أَنْ لَا نَكُفَّ ثَوْبًا وَلَا شَعْرًا»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever has land should cultivate it or give it to his brother."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا أَوْ يَمْنَحْهَا أَخَاهُ»
the Messenger of Allah said: “There is nothing like marriage, for two who love one another.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1847)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَمْ نَرَ لِلْمُتَحَابَّيْنِ مِثْلَ النِّكَاحِ»
أَنْ تُمِسَّ عَقِبَيْكَ أَلْيَتَيْكَ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was commanded to prostrate on seven bony parts of the body, and not to fold any hair or garment."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ وَلَا أَكُفَّ شَعْرًا وَلَا ثَوْبًا»
[Machine] Narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that when he would stand up at night, he would say, "O Allah, to You belongs all praise, the creator of the heavens and the earth. To You belongs all praise, the light of the heavens and the earth. To You belongs all praise, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them. You are true, Your word is true, Your promise is true, and meeting You is true. Paradise is true, Hellfire is true, and the Hour is true. O Allah, to You I submit, in You I believe, on You I rely, to You I turn in repentance, with You I engage in argument, and to You is my judgement. You are our Lord, and to You is the final destination. O Lord, forgive me for what I have concealed and what I have revealed, and what I have done before and what I have delayed. You are my Lord, there is no deity except You."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ كَبَّرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ قَيَّامُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ أَنْتَ حَقٌّ وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ وَوَعْدُكَ حَقٌّ وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ اللهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ أَنْتَ رَبُّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ أَنْتَ إِلَهِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ»
[Machine] I ejaculated by hand and by using a fabric, meaning semen.
«لَقَدْ نَسَلْتُهُ بِالْإِذْخِرِ وَالصُّوفةِ» يَعْنِي الْمَنِيَّ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "We are commanded to prostrate on seven body parts, and not to fold any hair or garment."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُمِرْنَا أَنْ نَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْضَاءٍ وَلَا نَكُفَّ شَعْرًا وَلَا ثَوْبًا»
[Machine] "To place your hands on the back of your ankles between the prostrations."
أَنْ تَضَعَ أَلْيَتَيْكَ عَلَى عَقِبَيْكَ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a woman in her abode and she brought out a child. She asked, "O Prophet of Allah, is this child performing Hajj?" He said, "Yes, and you will have reward for it."
مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِامْرَأَةٍ فِي مِحَفَّتِهَا فَأَخْرَجَتْ صَبِيًّا فَقَالَتْ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ said, "Whoever is killed in 'ummiyah or rimmīyah with a stone or a stick, then his blood money is severe upon his killer. And whoever is killed by his own hand, then he is the one responsible with his own hand. And whoever conceals him, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people. No ransom or compensation will be accepted from him."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي عِمِّيَّا أَوْ رِمِّيَّا بِحَجَرٍ أَوْ عَصا فَإِنَّ دِيَتَهُ مُغَلَّظَةٌ عَلَى عاقلتِهِ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ بِيَدِهِ فَهُوَ قَوَدُ يَدِهِ وَمَنْ حَالَ دُونَهُ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ
The Prophet ﷺ married Maimuna while he was in the state of Ihram, (only the ceremonies of marriage were held). (Using translation from Bukhārī 1837)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «تَزَوَّجَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ»
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet in the eclipse, he said, "He recited and then performed the bowing (ruku), then recited again, and then performed the bowing. He repeated this pattern until he recited and bowed seven times, and the last one was similar to the previous ones."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ في الْكُسُوفِ قَالَ «قَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ وَالْأُخْرَى مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ»
[Machine] I heard Ibn Abbas say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from supplication that is not heard, from a heart that does not humble, and from a soul that is never satisfied. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from these four.'"
سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ دُعَاءٍ لَا يُسْمَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَنَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَؤُلَاءِ الْأَرْبَعِ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said while in Mina: "If the people of gathering knew who came or who descended, they would rejoice in the favor of their Lord after the forgiveness."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ بِمِنًى «لَوْ يَعْلَمُ أَهْلُ الْجَمْعِ بِمَنْ حَلُّوا أَوْ بِمَنْ نَزَلُوا لَاسْتَبْشَرُوا بِالْفَضْلِ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ بَعْدَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ»
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying while he was in Mina: "If the people of the gathering knew who entered (the gathering), they would be delighted with the abundance of blessings after forgiveness."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ بِمِنًى يَقُولُ «لَوْ يَعْلَمُ أَهْلُ الْجَمْعِ بِمَنْ حَلُّوا لَاسْتَبْشَرُوا بِالْفَضْلِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ delayed the night prayer of Isha until the people of the mosque had left, except for Uthman ibn Mazh'un, who was one of the Prophet's companions, and about fifteen or sixteen men who were not yet seventeen. Uthman said, "I will not leave tonight until the Prophet ﷺ leaves so that I can pray with him and learn from his guidance." The Prophet ﷺ left the house close to one-third of the night with Bilal, and when he did not find anyone in the mosque, he heard some people speaking in one corner of the mosque. He walked towards them and greeted them, saying, "What is keeping you at this hour?" They replied, "O Prophet of Allah, we were waiting for you to bear witness to the prayer with you." He said to them, "No people before you have performed their prayer in this way, and you are still in prayer." And he said, "The stars are the security of the sky. When the stars disappear, what you have been promised will come. And I am the security for my companions. When I am gone, what my companions have been promised will come. And my companions are the security for my Ummah. When my companions are gone, what my Ummah has been promised will come."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَخَّرَ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ لَيْلَةً حَتَّى انْقَلَبَ أَهْلُ الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا عُثْمَانَ بْنَ مَظْعُونٍ وَهُوَ منْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَخَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ رَجُلًا أَوْ سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ مَا بَلَغُوا سَبْعَةَ عَشَرَ فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ لَا أَخْرُجُ اللَّيْلَةَ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَأُصَلِّيَ مَعَهُ وَأَعْلَمُ مَا أَمْرُهُ فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي قَرِيبٍ مِنْ ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ وَمَعَهُ بِلَالٌ وَلَمْ يَرَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ أَحَدًا إِذْ سَمِعَ نَغَمَةً مِنْ كَلَامِهِمْ فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَمَشَى إِلَيْهِمْ حَتَّى سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ «مَا يُجْلِسُكُمْ هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ؟» قَالُوا يَا نَبِيُّ اللهِ انتظرناكَ لنَشْهَدَ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَكَ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ «مَا صَلَّى صَلَاتَكُمْ هَذِهِ أُمَّةٌ قَطُّ قَبْلَكُمْ وَمَا زِلْتُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ بَعْدُ» وَقَالَ «إِنَّ النُّجُومَ أَمَانُ السَّمَاءِ فَإِذَا طُمِسَتِ النُّجُومُ أَتَى السَّمَاءَ مَا تُوعَدُونَ وَإِنِّي أَمَانٌ لِأَصْحَابِي فَإِذَا ذَهَبْتُ أَتَى أَصْحَابِي مَا يُوعَدُونَ وَأَصْحَابِي أَمَانٌ لِأُمَّتِي فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ أَصْحَابِي أَتَى أُمَّتِي مَا يُوعَدُونَ»
[Machine] "No one can purify him (referring to someone) except the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ."
«مَا أَحَدٌ أُزَكِّيهِ غَيْرَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever does not refrain his prayer from obscenity and evil, he will not increase with Allah except in distance."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ لَمْ تَنْهَهُ صَلَاتُهُ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ لَمْ يَزْدَدْ مِنَ اللهِ إِلَّا بُعْدًا»
[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ and his companions "did not perform the Sa'y (ritual walking back and forth) between Safa and Marwa except once during their Hajj and Umrah."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابَهُ «لَمْ يَطُوفُوا بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ إِلَّا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا لِحَجِّهِمْ وَعُمْرَتِهِمْ»
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "The Son of Adam has 360 joints. On every one of them, there is a charitable act to be performed every day." He said, "A good word is a charitable act, and assisting a man is a charitable act. A drink of water is a charitable act, and removing harm from the road is a charitable act."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «ابْنُ آدَمَ سِتُّونَ وَثَلَاثُمِائَةِ مَفْصِلٍ عَلَى كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهَا فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ صَدَقَةٌ» قَالَ «الْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِهَا الرَّجُلُ صَدَقَةٌ وَعَوْنُ الرَّجُلِ أَخَاهُ عَلَى الشَّيْءِ صَدَقَةٌ وَالشربةُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ يَسْقِيهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَإِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ صَدَقَةٌ»
19.3.59 Subsection
١٩۔٣۔٥٩ طَاوُسٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "If it were not for the fact that the corner (of the Kaaba) was stained with the impurities of ignorance and its vices, along with the hands of oppressors and sinners, it would have been sought for curing every ailment. And today it would have remained as it was on the day Allah created it. But Allah changed it to black in order for the people of this world not to look at the beauty of Paradise and long for it. Indeed, it (the corner) is a jewel from the jewels of Paradise, and Allah placed it there when He placed Adam at the place of the Kaaba before the Kaaba and the earth even existed. It was pure on that day, and no sins were committed in it, nor were there any people to defile it. So a group of angels was assigned to guard it at the boundaries of the sanctuary, guarding it from the inhabitants of the earth. And on that day, the jinn were the inhabitants, so it was not suitable for them to look at it, because it is something from Paradise. So the angels repel them from it, and they stand at the boundaries of the sanctuary, looking at it from all sides. And that is why it is called the sanctuary, because they turn away anyone who tries to approach it."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْلَا مَا طُبِعَ الرُّكْنُ مِنْ أَنْجَاسِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَأَرْجَاسِهَا وَأَيْدِي الظَّلَمَةِ وَالْأَثَمَةِ لَاسْتُشْفِيَ بِهِ مِنْ كُلِّ عَاهَةٍ وَلَأُبْقِيَ الْيَوْمَ كَهَيْئَةِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَهُ اللهُ وَإِنَّمَا غَيَّرَهُ اللهُ بِالسَّوَادِ لِئَلَّا يَنْظُرَ أَهْلُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَى زِينَةِ الْجَنَّةِ وَليَصيرَنَّ إِلَيْهَا وَإِنَّهَا لَيَاقُوتَةٌ مِنْ يَاقُوتِ الْجَنَّةِ وَضَعَهُ اللهُ حِينَ أَنْزَلَ آدَمَ فِي مَوْضِعِ الْكَعْبَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَكُونَ الْكَعْبَةُ وَالْأَرْضُ يَوْمَئِذٍ طَاهِرَةٌ وَلَمْ يُعْمَلْ فِيهَا شَيْءٌ مِنَ الْمَعَاصِي وَلَيْسَ لَهَا أَهْلٌ يُنَجِّسُونَها فَوُضِعَ لَهُ صَفٌّ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ عَلَى أَطْرَافِ الْحَرَمِ يَحْرُسُونَهُ مِنْ سُكَّانِ الْأَرْضِ وَسُكَّانُها يَوْمَئِذٍ الْجِنُّ لَا يَنْبَغِي لَهُمْ أَنْ يَنْظُرُوا إِلَيْهِ لِأَنَّهُ شَيْءٌ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ فَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يَذُودونَهُمْ عَنْهُ وَهُمْ وُقُوفٌ عَلَى أَطْرَافِ الْحَرَمِ يَحْدِقُونَ بِهِ مِنْ كُلِّ جَانِبٍ وَلِذَلِكَ سُمِّيَ الْحَرَمُ لِأَنَّهُمْ يَحُولُونَ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ»
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There will come out of Aden twelve thousand who will be victorious with Allah and His Messenger. They are the best among all the people between me and them."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يَخْرُجُ مِنْ عَدَنِ أَبْيَنَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا يُنْصَرُونَ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ هُمْ خَيْرُ مَنْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُمْ»
[Machine] "He who starts being unfaithful, and he who follows the prey becomes careless, and he who approaches the ruler becomes tempted."
«مَنْ بَدَا جَفَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ الصَّيْدَ غَفَلَ وَمَنْ أَتَى السُّلْطَانَ افْتُتِنَ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever approaches someone forbidden, will not enter paradise."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مَنْ أَتَى ذَا مَحْرَمٍ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is enough wrongdoing for you to continue quarrelling."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «كَفَى بِكَ إِثْمًا أَنْ لَا تَزَالَ مُخَاصِمًا»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ asked Gabriel to show himself. Gabriel told him to call upon his Lord, so he called upon his Lord and a blackness appeared to him from the direction of the east. He continued to rise and spread out, and when the Prophet ﷺ saw him, he was startled. Gabriel came to him, revived him, and wiped away the saliva from his mouth.
سَأَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ أَنْ يَرَاهُ فِي صُورَتِهِ قَالَ ادْعُ رَبَّكَ فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ فَطَلَعَ عَلَيْهِ سَوَادٌ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَشْرِقِ فَجَعَلَ يَرْتَفِعُ فَيَنْتَشِرُ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ صَعِقَ فَأَتَاهُ فَنَعَشَهُ وَمَسَحَ الْبُزَاقَ عَنْ شِدْقِهِ
19.3.60 Subsection
١٩۔٣۔٦٠ وَهْبُ بْنُ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The death of a stranger is a martyrdom when he is on the verge of death and he glances to his right and left and sees nothing but strangers. He mentions his family and children, takes a breath, and with every breath he takes, Allah erases two thousand thousand sins and writes for him two thousand thousand good deeds."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَوْتُ الْغَرِيبِ شَهَادَةٌ إِذَا احْتُضِرَ فَرَمَى بِبَصَرِهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ فَلَمْ يَرَ إِلَّا غَرِيبًا وَذَكَرَ أَهْلَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ وَتَنَفَّسَ فَلَهُ بِكُلِّ نَفَسٍ يَتَنَفَسُّهُ يَمْحُو اللهُ أَلْفَيْ أَلْفِ سَيِّئَةٍ وَيَكْتُبُ لَهُ أَلْفَيْ أَلْفِ حَسَنَةٍ»
[Machine] Ibn Abbas in prostration (sujood) in Surah (chapter) "Taubah" - The repentance of a prophet whom Allah commanded his prophet to follow him.
ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فِي سَجْدَةِ ص «تَوْبَةُ نَبِيٍّ أَمَرَ اللهُ نَبِيَّهُ أَنْ يَقْتَدِيَ بِهِ»
