أبو مسلم الكجى (وابن السمعانى في الذيل) عن عمر بن عبد العزيز مرسلا ، ورواه مسدد في مسنده عن ابن مسعود وموقوفا (يتعقب بهذا على الذهبى حيث قال في تخريج أحاديث مختصر ابن الحاجب: إن حديث الشبهات لا يحفظ، قاله الشيخ ولى الدين العراقى)
