"إِنَّمَا يُسَلِّطُه اللَّه عَلى ابن آدَم مَنْ خَافَهُ ابنُ آدم. ولو أَن ابنَ آدَمَ لم يَخَفْ غيرَ اللَّه لَمْ يُسَلِّطْ عَلَيهِ أَحَدًا؛ وإِنما وُكِلَ ابنُ آدم لمن رَجَا ابنُ آدم ولو أَن ابنَ آدم لم يُرج إِلَّا اللَّه لم يكله اللَّه إلى غيره".

"مَا سُلِّطَ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ إلا مَنْ خَافَهُ ابْنُ آدَمَ، وَلَوْ أَنَّ ابْنَ آدَمَ لَمْ يَخَفْ إلا اللهَ مَا سَلَّطَ اللهُ عَلَيهِ غَيرَهُ، وَلا وُكِلَ ابْنُ آدَمَ إلَّا إلى مَنْ رجَاهُ، وَلَوْ أَنَّ ابْنَ آدَمَ لَمْ يَرْجُ إلا اللهَ مَا وَكَلَهُ اللهُ إلَى غَيرِهِ".
