"عَنْ طَاووسٍ أَنَّ مُعَاذًا أَخَذَ مِنَ الْبَقَرِ مِنْ ثَلاثِينَ تَبِيعًا، وَمِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ مُسِنَّةً، فَسَأَلُوهُ عَمَّا دُونَ الثَّلاثِينَ؟ ، فَقَالَ: لَمْ أَسْمَعْ مِنَ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ شَيْئًا، أَوْ لَمْ يَأمُرْنِى فِيهِ بِشَىْءٍ".
