The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Allah loves the believing slave who falls into sin a great deal and repents a great deal. (Using translation from Aḥmad 605)   

السيوطي:٥٢٣٤a –

"إِنَّ الله تَعَالى يُحِبُّ العَبْدَ الْمُؤْمنَ المُفَتَّنَ التَّوابَ".
