"عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: أَوَّلُ الْفِتَنِ قَتْلُ عُثْمَانَ، وآخِرُهَا خُروجُ الدَّجَّالِ".

[ش] ابن أبى شيبة [كر] ابن عساكر في تاريخه وَزَادَ: وَالَّذِى نَفْسِى بِيَدِهِ لَا يَمُوت رَجُلٌ وَفِى قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ حُبِّ قَتْلِ عُثْمَان إِلَّا تَبِعَ الدَّجَّالَ إِنْ أَدْرَكَهُ، وَإِنْ لَم يُدْرِكْهُ آمَنَ بِهِ فِى قَبْرِهِ "
