"لا تَزَالُ أُمَّتِي بِخَير مَا لمْ يَظهَرْ فِيهِمْ حُبُّ الدُّنيا، وعُلَمَاءُ فُسَّاقٌ وقراءٌ جهالٌ، وجَبَابِرَةٌ، فَإِذَا ظَهَرتْ [خَشِيتُ] أنْ يَعُمَّهم اللهُ بِعقاب".
