"مَنْ كَانَتْ الدُّنْيَا نَهْمَتَهُ (*) حَرَّمَ الله - تَعَالى - عَلَيهِ جِوَارِي، فَإِنِّي بُعِثْتُ بِخَرَاب الدُّنْيَا، وَلَمْ أُبْعَثْ بِعُمْرَانِهَا".

السيوطي:٢٦٨٩٧a –

"يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ: مَنْ وَلِىَ مِنْكُمْ عَمَلًا فحَجَبَ بَابَه عن ذِى حَاجَة لَلمُسْلِمِينَ حَجَبَه اللهُ أن يَلِج بَابَ الجَنَّةِ، وَمَنْ كَانتْ الدُّنْيَا نَهْمَته حَرَّم اللهُ عليه جِوارِى؛ (فَإِنى بُعِثت بِخَرابِ الدُّنيا وَلَمْ أُبعَث بِعِمَارَتِهَا) " (* *).
