Rewards for those who listen and recite the Quran

ahmad:8494 – Abū Saʿīd a freed slave of Banī Hāshim > ʿAbbād b. Maysarah > al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī > Abū Hurayrah

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever listens to a verse from the Book of Allah Almighty will have multiplied rewards written for him. Whoever recites a verse will have a light on the Day of Resurrection."

أحمد:٨٤٩٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
