" عَنْ جَابِرٍ: أَنَّ غُلاَمًا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ صَادَ أَرْنَبًا فَذَكَّاهَا بِمُروةٍ، فَسَأَلَ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ عَنْ أَكْلِهَا فَأَمَرَهُ بِأَكْلِهَا".

[Machine] A boy from his people caught a rabbit and slaughtered it using a rock. He hung it up and asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about eating it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed him to eat it. It is also narrated by 'Umar ibn 'Amir from Qatadah in a similar manner, and Hammam reported it from Qatadah.
