Five deeds done on a Friday that guarantee Jannah

ذِكْرُ الْخِصَالِ الَّتِي إِذَا اسْتَعْمَلَهَا الْمَرْءُ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ، كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ

ibnhibban:2771 – Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan b. Qutaybah > Ḥarmalah b. Yaḥyá > Ibn Wahb > Ḥaywah b. Shurayḥ > Bashīr b. Abū ʿAmr al-Khawlānī > al-Walīd b. Qays al-Tujībī > Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī

that He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There are five actions that if done in a day, Allah will write the person from the people of Paradise: (1) visiting a sick person, (2) attending a funeral, (3) fasting for a day, (3) going to Jumuah prayer, and (5) freeing a slave."

ابن حبّان:٢٧٧١ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ أَنَّ بَشِيرَ بْنَ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الْخَوْلَانِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ التُّجِيبِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «خَمْسٌ مَنْ عَمِلَهُنَّ فِي يَوْمٍ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا وَشَهِدَ جَنَازَةً وَصَامَ يَوْمًا وَرَاحَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَأَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً»
