"بَطَلٌ مُؤْمِنٌ، سَخِيٌ نَقِيٌ حَاطَةُ الدِّين، وملِكُ الإِسْلامِ، وَنُورُ الهُدَى، وَمَنَارُ التقَى، فَطُوَبى لِمَنْ تَبِعَكَ، وَالوَيلُ لِمَنْ خَذَلَكَ".

"عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُحَدِّثُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَهُوَ يَبْتَسِمُ في وَجْهِهِ وَيَقُولُ: بَطَلٌ مُؤْمِنٌ سَخِىٌّ تَقِىٌّ، حِيَاطَةُ الدِّينِ وَمُلْكُ الإِسْلَامِ، وَنُورُ الْهُدَى وَمَنازِلُ التُّقَى، فَطُوبَى لِمَنْ تَبِعَكَ، وَالْوَيْلُ لِمَنْ خَذَلَكَ".
