The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade giving a false impression, and the false impression of a woman when she adds extra hair to her head. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5248)  

الكبرى للنسائي:٩٣١٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَرْقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الزُّورِ وَالزُّورُ الْمَرْأَةُ تَلُفُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا
