"The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'Have you got married?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Have you got any Anmat?' I said: 'How can we afford Anmat?' He said: 'You will be able to.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3386)
قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «هَلْ تَزَوَّجْتَ يَا جَابِرُ؟» قُلْتُ نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «فَهَلِ اتَّخَذْتُمْ أَنْمَاطًا؟» قُلْتُ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا وَأَنَّى لَنَا أَنْمَاطٌ؟ قَالَ «إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ»
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Did you get Anmat?" I said, 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! From where can we have Anmat?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Soon you will have them (Anmat).
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ هَلِ اتَّخَذْتُمْ أَنْمَاطًا قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَأَنَّى لَنَا أَنْمَاطٌ قَالَ إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ
When I was married, Messenger of Allah (may peace he upon him) asked me if I had got the carpet. I said: How can we have carpets? (i. e. I am so poor that I cannot even think of carpets). whereupon he said: You shall soon possess them.
لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَمَّا تَزَوَّجْتُ أَتَّخَذْتَ أَنْمَاطًا قُلْتُ وَأَنَّى لَنَا أَنْمَاطٌ قَالَ أَمَا إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ
"The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'Have you got married?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Have you got any Anmat?' I said: 'How can we afford Anmat?' He said: 'You will be able to.'"
