[Machine] I asked Yahya ibn Al-Jazzar about this verse: {And know that anything you obtain of war booty - then indeed, for Allah is one fifth of it} [Al-Anfal 41]. I said, "How much did the Prophet ﷺ receive from the fifth?" He said, "One fifth of the fifth."
سَأَلْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ الْجَزَّارِ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ {§وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَأَنَّ لِلَّهِ خُمُسَهُ} [الأنفال 41] قَالَ قُلْتُ كَمْ كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِنَ الْخُمُسِ؟ قَالَ «خُمُسُ الْخُمُسِ»
