Soothsayers and the jinn's stolen word
Some people asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about soothsayers, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to them: "They are nothing." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, sometimes they tell of something that turns out to be true." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "That word is from the jinn. A jinni snatches it and clucks it into the ear of his ally like the clucking of a hen, then they mix into it more than one hundred lies."
