Yahya related to me from Malik from Jafar ibn Muhammad from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave two khutbas on the day of jumua and sat down between them.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَطَبَ خُطْبَتَيْنِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَجَلَسَ بَيْنَهُمَا
Yahya related to me from Malik from Jafar ibn Muhammad from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave two khutbas on the day of jumua and sat down between them.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَطَبَ خُطْبَتَيْنِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَجَلَسَ بَيْنَهُمَا
The Prophet ﷺ used to deliver two Khutbas and sit in between them.
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ خُطْبَتَيْنِ يَقْعُدُ بَيْنَهُمَا
Ibn 'Umar said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to deliver the sermon on Friday while standing. He would then sit and then stand (for the second sermon) as they (the Muslims) do nowadays.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ قَالَ كَمَا يَفْعَلُونَ الْيَوْمَ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited to sit on hips by erecting feet, sticking them to the stomach and holding them with hands on Friday while the imam is delivering the sermon.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْحُبْوَةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ
"The Prophet prohibited Al-Habwah on Friday while the Imam is delivering the Khutbah."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْحَبْوَةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to deliver two khutbahs standing, and he would separate them by sitting.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ وَكَانَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمَا بِجُلُوسٍ
“While he was standing.”
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ خُطْبَتَيْنِ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا جَلْسَةً زَادَ بِشْرٌ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade Ihtiba’ (sitting with one's thighs gathered up against the stomach while wrapping one's arm or garment around them) on Fridays, meaning, when the Imam is delivering the sermon.”
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ الاِحْتِبَاءِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ يَعْنِي وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ خُطْبَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ وَكَانَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمَا بِجُلُوسٍ»
[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ , it is narrated that he used to deliver the sermon standing on the day of Friday, then he would sit, and then he would stand and deliver the sermon.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to give two sermons on Fridays with a break in between.
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ مَرَّتَيْنِ بَيْنَهُمَا جَلْسَةٌ
[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ used to sit between the sermons.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to give two sermons on Fridays, sitting in between them once.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ خُطْبَتَيْنِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا مَرَّةً
Nafi' reported that he heard Abu Lubaba informing Ibn 'Umar that Messenger of Allah ﷺ had forbidden the killing of domestic snakes. (Using translation from Muslim 2233f)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ جِنَّانِ الْبُيُوتِ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited to sit on hips by erecting feet, sticking them to the stomach and holding them with hands on Friday while the imam is delivering the sermon. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1110)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ الْحُبْوَةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to deliver his sermons while standing and would sit between the sermons and recite verses and remind the people.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا وَيَجْلِسُ بَيْنَ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ وَيَقْرَأُ آيَاتٍ وَيُذَكِّرُ النَّاسَ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to deliver the Friday sermon while standing, then he would sit, and then he would stand again.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ
It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah forbade celibacy. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3213)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ التَّبَتُّلِ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'n-Nadr, the mawla of Umar ibn Ubaydullah, from Sulayman ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade fasting on the days of Mina.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ صِيَامِ أَيَّامِ مِنًى
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited to sit on hips by erecting feet, sticking them to the stomach and holding them with hands on Friday while the imam is delivering the sermon. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1110)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنِ الْحِبْوَةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ»
'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Uthman al-Taimi reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade taking into custody the stray thing of the pilgrims. (Using translation from Muslim 1724)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنْ لُقَطَةِ الْحَاجِّ»
By Allah, I am certain that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that. (Using translation from Aḥmad 101)
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ النُّهْبَةِ»
“While he was standing.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1103)
«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ خُطْبَتَيْنِ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا»
By Allah, I am certain that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that. (Using translation from Aḥmad 101)
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُتْعَةِ»
[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade indulging in pleasure on the day of victory."
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُتْعَةِ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ»
[AI] "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ used to deliver two sermons on Friday, with a sitting interval between them."
«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ خُطْبَتَيْنِ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا»
[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to deliver two sermons while standing on the day of Friday, sitting between them.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ «يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ خُطْبَتَيْنِ قَائِمًا يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to give the sermon on Fridays standing, then he would sit down, then he would stand and give the sermon.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to give a sermon on Fridays, with a pause between them.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ مَرَّتَيْنِ بَيْنَهُمَا جَلْسَةٌ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ يَخْطُبُ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ وَكَانَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمَا بِجُلُوسٍ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to deliver two sermons on Fridays, with a sitting session in between them.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ خُطْبَتَيْنِ بَيْنَهُمَا جِلْسَةٌ
[AI] He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to deliver two sermons on Friday, sitting between them and delivering them while standing.
أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ خُطْبَتَيْنِ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا وَيَخْطُبُهُمَا وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ
[AI] That Ibn Umar used to seek out the best days and the Imam would deliver the sermon.
أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَحْتَبِي يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ
[AI] That the imam delivers two sermons on the two Eids, with a break between them while he sits.
أَنْ يَخْطُبَ الْإِمَامُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ خُطْبَتَيْنِ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمَا بِجِلُوسٍ
"أَن النَّبِىَّ ﷺ كانَ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَائِمًا، ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ، ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ".
"أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَخْطُب خُطبَتَيْنِ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا".
