"Who is next?" The Prophet said, "Your mother." The man further said, "Who is next?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Your mother." The man asked for the fourth time, "Who is next?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Your father. "
A man came to the Prophet ﷺ asking his permission to take part in Jihad. The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Are your parents alive?" He replied in the affirmative. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Then exert yourself in their service."
45.2 Being Dutiful To One's Parents Takes Precedence Over Voluntary Prayer, Etc.
The Prophet ﷺ said, "None spoke in cradle but three: (The first was) Jesus, (the second was), there a man from Bani Israel called Juraij. While he was offering his prayers, his mother came and called him. He said (to himself), 'Shall I answer her or keep on praying?" (He went on praying) and did not answer her, his mother said, "O Allah! Do not let him die till he sees the faces of prostitutes." So while he was in his hermitage, a lady came and sought to seduce him, but he refused. So she went to a shepherd and presented herself to him to commit illegal sexual intercourse with her and then later she gave birth to a child and claimed that it belonged to Juraij. The people, therefore, came to him and dismantled his hermitage and expelled him out of it and abused him. Juraij performed the ablution and offered prayer, and then came to the child and said, 'O child! Who is your father?' The child replied, 'The shepherd.' (After hearing this) the people said, 'We shall rebuild your hermitage of gold,' but he said, 'No, of nothing but mud.'(The third was the hero of the following story) A lady from Bani Israel was nursing her child at her breast when a handsome rider passed by her. She said, 'O Allah ! Make my child like him.' On that the child left her breast, and facing the rider said, 'O Allah! Do not make me like him.' The child then started to suck her breast again. (Abu Huraira further said, "As if I were now looking at the Prophet ﷺ sucking his finger (in way of demonstration.") After a while the people passed by, with a lady slave and she (i.e. the child's mother) said, 'O Allah! Do not make my child like this (slave girl)!, On that the child left her breast and said, 'O Allah! Make me like her.' When she asked why, the child replied, 'The rider is one of the tyrants while this slave girl is falsely accused of theft and illegal sexual intercourse."

Then Allah said, 'That is for you.' " Abu Huraira added: If you wish, you can recite: "Would you then if you were given the authority. do mischief in the land and sever your ties of kinship. (47. 22)

That he heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "The person who severs the bond of kinship will not enter Paradise."
I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "whoever desires an expansion in his sustenance and age, should keep good relations with his Kith and kin."

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is not lawful for a man to desert his brother Muslim for more than three nights. (It is unlawful for them that) when they meet, one of them turns his face away from the other, and the other turns his face from the former, and the better of the two will be the one who greets the other first."

45.14 The Reward Of The Believer For Whatever Befalls Him Of Sickness, Grief And The Like, Even A Thorn That Pricks Him
I never saw anybody suffering so much from sickness as Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
Even the slightest of pain expiates sins like leaves fall off of a tree
I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was suffering from a high fever. I said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, you have a very high fever." He said, "Yes, I have as much fever as two men of you." I said, "Is it because you will have a double reward?"
He said, "Yes, it is so. No Muslim is afflicted with the prick of a thorn or something greater except that Allah expiates his sins because of it just as a tree sheds its leaves."
(the wife of the Prophet) Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn."
Every kind of distress, even a thorn prick, expiates sins
The Prophet ﷺ said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick from a thorn, except that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."
An example of a woman of Jannah
Ibn ʿAbbas said to me, "Shall I show you a woman of the people of Paradise?" I said, "Yes." He said, "This black lady came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'I get attacks of epilepsy and my body becomes uncovered; please invoke Allah for me.' The Prophet ﷺ said (to her), 'If you wish, be patient and you will have (enter) Paradise; and if you wish, I will invoke Allah to cure you.' She said, 'I will remain patient,' and added, 'but I become uncovered, so please invoke Allah for me that I may not become uncovered.' So he invoked Allah for her." Narrated 'Ata: That he had seen Um Zafar, the tall black lady, at (holding) the curtain of the Kaʿba.
45.15 The Prohibition Of Oppression
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection . "
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah gives respite to the oppressor, but when He takes him over, He never releases him." Then he recited:-- "Such is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes (population of) towns in the midst of their wrong: Painful indeed, and severe is His seizure.' (11.102)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُمْلِي لِلظَّالِمِ حَتَّى إِذَا أَخَذَهُ لَمْ يُفْلِتْهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {وَكَذَلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَا أَخَذَ الْقُرَى وَهْىَ ظَالِمَةٌ إِنَّ أَخْذَهُ أَلِيمٌ شَدِيدٌ}

The Prophet ﷺ said, "A faithful believer to a faithful believer is like the bricks of a wall, enforcing each other." While (saying that) the Prophet ﷺ clasped his hands, by interlacing his fingers.
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You see the believers as regards their being merciful among themselves and showing love among themselves and being kind, resembling one body, so that, if any part of the body is not well then the whole body shares the sleeplessness (insomnia) and fever with it."
45.22 Being Kind To Protect Oneself From Another's Vile Behavior
A man asked permission to enter upon Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Admit him. What an evil brother of his people or a son of his people." But when the man entered, the Prophet ﷺ spoke to him in a very polite manner. (And when that person left) I said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! You had said what you had said, yet you spoke to him in a very polite manner?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "O ʿAisha! The worst people are those whom the people desert or leave in order to save themselves from their dirty language or from their transgression."
45.25 Whomever Is Cursed, Reviled Or Prayed Against By The Prophet ﷺ When He Does Not Deserve That, It Will Be Purification, Reward And Mercy For Him
that he heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "O Allah! If I should ever abuse a believer, please let that be a means of bringing him near to You on the Day of Resurrection."
45.27 The Prohibition Of Lying, And What Is Permitted Thereof
That she heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar."
45.29 The Abhorrence Of Lying, And The Goodness And Virtue Of Honesty
One who speaks the truth is guided righteousness
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. And a man keeps on telling the truth until he becomes a truthful person. Falsehood leads to Al-Fajur (i.e. wickedness, evil-doing), and Al-Fajur (wickedness) leads to the (Hell) Fire, and a man may keep on telling lies till he is written before Allah, a liar."
45.30 The Virtue Of One Who Controls Himself At Times Of Anger, And What Takes Away Anger
True strength is in self-control
the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger."
Two men abused each other in front of the Prophet ﷺ while we were sitting with him. One of the two abused his companion furiously and his face became red. The Prophet ﷺ said, "I know a word (sentence) the saying of which will cause him to relax if this man says it. Only if he said, "I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the outcast.' " So they said to that (furious) man, 'Don't you hear what the Prophet ﷺ is saying?" He said, "I am not mad."
